What Is the Indigenous Art Alliance?
The Indigenous Art Alliance is a non-profit organization whose focus is to promote and empower Indigenous artists by providing space to educate and explore the history of Indigenous peoples, through Contemporary Arts. There is emphasis placed on the historical tribal nations of Iowa. Artists will share their stories and histories of these tribal nations to promote a bridge of understanding and knowledge of Indigenous peoples. While there is a strong emphasis placed on Iowa, we also welcome Indigenous artists from all across Turtle Island to help place a perspective on the broader picture of Indigenous Culture, Heritage, and History.
